Officers for the year included Jack Stanfield, President; Jo Ann Thorburn, Vice President; Josie Story, Secretary-Treasurer; and Elaine McMichael, Corresponding Secretary. The Fall production, YEARS AGO, met with great success. Members of the cast were Lorraine Van Blair, Bill Young, Benny Beagle, Connie Magness, Jack Stan- field, Marilyn Miller, Susie Hixson, Germaine Jezewski, and Paul Wilkins. Those being initiated in the fall were Beth Ames, Benny Beagle, Ann Beckman, Janet Boyd, Mary Lou Corbett, Martha Corthell, Jeanne Cote, Carol DeKay, Mary Dunham, Roberta Green, Lynn Gunn, Donna Hauck, Ralph Hesson, Mary Lou Johnson, Diane Larson, Janice Larson, Hjalma Person, Carolyn Peterson, Margaret Reilly, Barbara Smith, Mardel Smith, Mary Marsha Sullivant, Caroly Warnecke, Neil Waters, Sharon Wright, and Bill Young. GREEN VALLEY, the Senior class play, was a romantic fantasy which kept the audience in laughter. A cast of twenty-five was headed by Elaine McMichael, Bob Buescher, lack Stanfield, Emily Summers, Bob Gietz4 and Leland Wynant. Those receiving their Eight-Jewel Thespian pin, the highest award in Thespians, by the end of the first semester were Donna Gabrielson, Elaine McMichael, Pat Craig, and Jo Ann Thorburn. The Original Production, A MEDLEY OF POETIC DRAMA, was held in March. Under the sponsorship of Win Hungate, English and fine arts instructor, the 125 members of Junior Thespians have enjoyed a variety of activities this year. In October 75 new members were initiated at the club's annual Halloween mas- querade. At the all-school open house for parents in November, club members presented a one-act play, A Note to Myself. The Junior Thespians also enjoyed Christmas and Valentine parties. In the spring they will assist Mr. Hungate's fine arts classes in the presentation of the Originals of '52.
