The Sunshine Society was designed to spread goodwill and cheer. Each year li the S.S.S.- gives a sizeable amount of money to the Riley Hospital for Chil- dren. Each member had a kit to sell to make money for the Riley fund. The S.S.S. also had a baked goods sale at the Halloween Carnival. The Good Cheer Committee made ubeanbag mice for handicapped children. The Activities Committee planned a Valentine's Day Dance, which provided for mid-vacation entertainment. Dorothy Blevins presented a style show in the spring. Each girl is given a mum corsage to identify her as a new member and to remind her of her S.S.S. duties.
