Country Supenintendent DALE PROUGI-I The graduates of Lapel High School, as well as those of every other high school in America, are on a hill and shall be seen and heard. They must represent the age of improvement and advancement in the arts of peace. They must develop the resources of our land, build bigger and better institutions, and perform something in our day worthy to be remembered. May their efforts produce neither oppression nor terror, but wisdom, peace and liberty. Thus, then will our country be a magnificent monument to their efforts. Lapel High School is but a small segment of this over-all magnitudeg yet, I know it will continue to play its important role in the affairs of mankind. Lapel can be proud of its tradition and optimistic of its future. Dale Prough 'Jnuatee James Troutman i Hduiaonq Bound Lawrence Heiny Carl Kilburn James W.
