Mr. Schickler Superintendent of Schools Students: It is with pleasure that I accept the invitation of the Pantherscope Staff to write a few lines for the 1959-1960 Pantherscope. We can all be proud of the splendid spirit shown in our school. Everywhere, our students and faculty reflect optimism, courage, industriousness, humor, and graciousness. We have a fine student body and conscientious teachers with few real problems. I wish to compliment the individual members of our Senior Class. Your fine attitude and cooperation in and out of the classroom has been excellent. Your class as a whole has an excellent record in all phases of our school program. We have enjoyed having you here. I extend to you my very best wishes for the future. Students, you have every right to be proud of your school. Lapeer High has a enviable record among the High Schools of Michigan. You have done well this year and I compliment you on making the school year 1959-1960 a successful one. 6 Mr. Schickler
