Lydia Lebedovych VALEO (CTOR fA N Lydia Lebedovych is valedictorian of the class of 1958. She is the daughter of Drs. Emil and Lydia Lebedovych. Lydia was born in Mostiska, Ukraine. She and her family came to the United States when she was nine. After attending Bishop Kelley Memorial School for four years, she entered Lapeer High School where she is taking a college preparatory course. Her activities include Drama Club, Future Teachers Club, Girl's Athletic Club, Model United Nations Assembly, and Library Club. She has been a gym assistant, c class officer, costume chairman of the senior play and a member of the Boards of Directors in her sophomore and senior years. In 1956, as delegate to the Model U. N., she delivered her oration before the Assembly, entirely in Ukrainian, with David Buby as interpreter. Lydia enjoys music, reading, all types of outdoor sports, especially swimming. She would like to be a chemistry teacher and plans to attend the University of Michigan. SALUTATOklAN Sharon Bolton is salutatorian of the class of 1958. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Bolton of Metamora. Sharon attended Gardner School, entering Lapeer High School as a freshman. She has been a member of the Future Nurses Club, Drama Club and Model United Nations Assembly. During her high school years she worked part time at the Soil Conservation Office. Sharon's hobby is reading. Science and mathematics are her favorite subjects in the college preparatory course she has taken. She plans to become a registered nurse, entering Saginaw General Hospital in September, 1958. 14 Sharon Bolton
