jjfl LA PIERRE Editorial little details which formerly seemed insignificant hut which now we begin to realize with increasing endearment that perhaps after all their insignificance is what brings to our memory so many pleasant thoughts. As Seniors we can have no more of the joys, trials, perhaps sorrows, and those companions with whom we have mingled for so long we must leave. Joyfully we have lived a small part of our life, may the rest be as much of a blessing. And so it is that we are publishing this Year Book —our Year Book. To preserve in our memory and yours that which we are pleased to call our happiest moments. It is our wish that you, too, will receive the benefits which these pages and your memory bring to mind. To the Class which preceded us we speak of in reverence. It is through their pioneering a great share of the credit this Annual may deserve, rightfully belongs. The success they attained is our aim. To those who have given of their knowledge, time, work and personality to the molding of our characters— our Faculty—we are deeply indebted. May they, too, share with us our happiness. The School Board and the Citizens who have made possible the privileges we have had in education by giving us such a marvelous edifice and uncomparable teaching staff, we do not know how to adequately thank. And our friends in the lower grades, we will always remember.
