l LINCOLN MARzEL1.o Class President I r. I Presidenfs Message It seems just yesterday that we first entered the modern Knicker- backer Junior High School where we were among the first to enjoy the privileges of a great new school. We were the first class to spend three years in the new building where we l1ad the pleasure of using modern equipment supplied by the people of Ii2U1SlIlQQlJllI'gll. After grad- uating from junior high we came to these more mature halls where real high school life was presented us. In tl1e past three years we have made many friends both among the faculty and student body. Although our school days were those of companionship and understanding the world without was one of hate and misunderstanding. From the one hundred and Hfty students which graduated from Knickerbaeker Junior High our class has dwindled down to a little over one hundred. Tomorrow we will receive our displomas and go forth into life. Few classes have graduated into a more turbulent life. Knowing the spirit of the Class of '43 I know we will do our share as we go into life, some of us in the armed services, others as business- men and others in war plants. I know the spirit will still be there and I can assure you we won't let you down.
