Steve Verge Steve, seldom seen apart from his gang, enjoys kidding around with the boys. His shy grin and soft spoken manner are characteristic of this young man. At hunting, Steve is tops, but he plans on becoming a farmer after graduation. CII-'FO Lyn Na da Hn A heroine in a plaid skirt is Carolyn who lends a hand each day in the kindergarten. Self- reliance, self-confidence and good clothes sense are characteristics which typify her. An honor student, Carolyn plans on a secretarial job, and marriage after graduation. Iflfrcd Freely Ooh, but that feels good introduces our intellectual Fred Frady who is out to makea mil- lion bucks and never work again. His drawl, his quips and his two pals, Roger and J im iden- ify him. Fred is not ruffed by a controversial issue yet he dislikes getting up in the morning. Fa-rmlie Mcldeatcrsi This young lady was last years' Junior Prom Queen. Fannie,,' the store keeper of L.C.S., is lively and gay. She is well liked and is one of the high-honor students of the Senior Class. Fannie enjoys music and has played in the lland and the llance 'Band for several years. M my 1101-oath. Mary's day. begins with a pleasant good morning and her consideration for others is nev- er failing throughout the day. Tho soft spoken, Mary is a determined and capable girl, she's a careful thinker and is painstaking in her Work. I-Ter ambition is to become a secretary. Roger Hagan, This amiable gentleman possesses the abil- ity to reason soundly and, hence, is a Whiz at a quizf, Neat appearing Hoge is always busily doing something, preferably science, when in school and after school hours he likes to I'ead, go hunting or fishing or make model airplanes. Hoge says that his ambition is to secure a good position in life and to be happy all the time. John Marshall John Marchell, the quiet man, is well liked by his classmates. Mature and deliberate, John is a J ack of all trades, he has managed to make the roll again and again, served as president of his class for 3 years and has participated for 4 years in football, basketball and baseball. His ambition? To be a success in all of his under- takings. Margaret Loffzff o Maggie is a hard working gal whose pleasing manner and quiet dependability win her an A-1 rating from all who come in contact with her. Her pet expression I don't know is misleading for behind that veil of uncertainty, exists the keen witted Maggie. ller ambition is to become a telephone operator. iVcil Stockton 'Wherever he goes, Neil is sure to put in a smooth appearance. A wheedler and a tease, keen minded Neil is well thought of at Lansing. His pet expression If you say so gives testi- mony of his agreeable disposition. J oe Trirtkl Joe CBa Natzj Trinkl is one of those mod- est individuals whose a.ctions speak louder than Words. An all-around Sportsman, Joehas dis- tinguished himself on numerous occasions in base- ball, football and basketball. He's a smooth dancer and he likes to go hunting and to be able to have things his own way. Laura M alley A bit of the sun and fire midst her waves, Laura disproves the old saying about a redhead and her temper, she has a very pleasing dispo- sition. Her ability in shorthand is surpass- ed by few. Like most high school girls her hob- by is boys and she enjoys a variety of escorts. Beverly Hart This young lady plans on working as a. bookkeeper and typist after graduation. She should wow 'em from all indications, for Bev who always looks neat, has a quiet but very pleas- ing personality, is dependable and willing to co- operate with others. And for the benefit of the handsome young business executive, Bev is a. smooth dancer. Robert DlGlac0m0 -Good-natured Bob is everybody's friend. Ho'll greet you with his ready smile and startle you with the good sense which he keeps hidden beneath a quiet manner. lt is not surprising tl1at sports are Bob's hobby because he played a notable part in Lansing's sport contests for the past four years. V Charles Eastman His name is Charles Eastman, but friends call him Chuck, His main ambition, 11ot .dif- icult for him to attain, is to make himself a per- son likeable to all. His hobby Cas is most boysj is Girls! The expression most used by him is Am I ever telling you. The thing that peeves him most is other guys fooling around with my girl. U I age Eighteen Leora Swayee Definite convictions, steady determination and a shrewness masked in frolic describe Leora. You may find her, always well groomed, deeply engrossed in an assignment or eagerly pouring forth the details of a new experience. Industri- ous Leora hopes to become a secretary after grad- nation. Charles Bower Here is a friendly, happy-go-lucky guy whom his friends call Chuck', or Charlie, He enjoys going hunting and he likes racing. His ambition is to become a steam fitter. Vtfhenever you hear the expression How's that, Pal ? you may be sure that Chuck is in the vicinity Barbara Davis Sukie, serene and mature, takes things in her stride. She's a well-groomed young lady with a lot of good sense At the Senior Play sho gave a fine performance, an evidence of her act- ing ability. Her ambition is to become a home- maker. r Mary Laflomle The cheerleader with the pansy velvet eyes? That's Mary Lallonde. A smile is her theme song and she possesses an inexhaustible capacity for excitement. Caught in a whirl of social activities, Mary often appears to be in a world of her own. Her pet peeve? School. Walter Sweazey The name is Walter' Sweazey but he is known as just Walt, Although at timeshe is silent and serene he has his share of laughter and fun. His thrilling.ambition is to drive a stock car. His hobby? Cars! Motorcycles! AND Wlomen ! ! I

Marjorie N eclrow Effervescent is the word for this likeable miss who is often heard exclaiming Oh George l Comical Margie is excellent company, her sim- plicity and sincerity endear her to all and her in- dustriousvnature and willingness to please makes her a boon to any crowd. Ada Lalonde Ada is a silent observer who prefers a seat on the side-lines. Her quietness of tone and manner deny a spirit seldom exhibited. A Ada's ambition is to become a secretary after gradua- tion. James Weaver Jim the designer of last year's Cayu- gan cover, is a clever photographer as well as an artist. 1 Jim's dry sense of humor, high-lighted by his gooder expressions, keep the students of L.C.S. well entertained. His ambition is to go to art school after graduation. - Jack Tfvafroha. Retiring, serious J ack is determined to a- void girls, and shun social activities which might have, in attendance, representives of the fair sex. He admits that girls are his pet peeve. Jack is a conscientious student, who enjoys spending his liesure time in the pursuit of his interesting hobby, model cars. Mmrie M olm Ambitious? Yes, she is! Marie, who has proven herself to be an in- dustrious and an effecient girl, plans to study at Genesee, to become a school librarian. Although she is a student of numerous interests and abili- ties, many hours of her time have been consumed in helping Mrs. A. in the library. A quiet girl, Marie claims your attention with her pleasing manners. Page T wenty Romofnfa Robifnson Golly introduces our Monie whose quiet voice and lady like manner coupled with a mature sense of responsibility should carry her a long, way. She is an outstanding student and she plans on marriage after graduation. Reading and listening to the radio are frequently enjoyed by Monie after school hours. Lucite Snyder Lucy is the gal to ask for a frank opin- ion, her sincerity and her judgement combine to make her reply worth while. Her willingness to cooperate and her sense of fair play have won her the friendship of her fellow classmates. Lu- cile's ambition is to become a nurse and her hu- morous disposition which is seldom ruffled should be just what the doctor ordered. Rosemary Nedfrow Rosie, quiet and pleasant, has been cash- ier in the cafeteria for several years. She's practical and witty and fun to be with. Her am- bition is to be married after graduation. Joe Hrctclfisky p You say there was a big one there but he got away? Why not consult Joe, our master with a rod and reel? Quiet J oe doesn't have to blow his own horn, for the results of his talents may be seen by all in the Industrial Arts show- case. A perfectionist, J oe is a unique crafts- man whose ingenuity, patience and workmanship enable him to turn out first-classprojccts of' his own design. Bea Dyer Bea, a graduating J unior, is a newcomer to Lansing this year. Her fine posters, outstand- ing in their originality, are familiar to all at Lan- sing. Never idle, Bea numbers Sports Club and Band among her many activities.
