Mary E. Lindenmuth, in her capacity as guidance counselor, has helped many students find their niches in life. She has listened to their problems, discussed their uncertainties, and encouraged their ambitions. Miss Lindenmuth, a graduate of Ringtown High School, received her bachelor of science degree from Temple University. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her masters degree. Later, Miss Lindenmuth studied methods of education in English and mathematics at Rutgers University. She has had an extensive and diversified teaching career. In 1931 Miss Lindenmuth began her work at Landsdowne-Aldan as a geometry teacher. She became assistant principal and director of guidance in 1939. From 1942 until 1946 Miss Lindenmuth was Assistant Personnel Officer in the WAVES, stationed at Seattle, Washington. After World War II, she returned to Landsdowne to continue as advisor and principal. The students of Lansdowne-Aldan, in appreciation of the kindness and consideration shown to us as individuals, dedicate the 1966 Lahian to Mary E. Lindenmuth. 3
