SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Barry Drake, president Edward Harding, vice-president Stephan Ladisch, treasurer Sheila Mulligan, recording secretary Pam Scott, corresponding secretary Ruth Dunkle, prom chairman Because your father bribed them, that’s why! It all began in April, 1964, when the Senior Play Selection Committee started reading plays, searching for the one which would be presented in November. Countless plays later it was chosen: The Divine Flora. Miss Linda Burnett, director, held tryouts and selected the cast: Jill Coffman as Flora Dean, Ed Harding as Randy Pryor, Jim Rinicr as Buzz Rafferty, and Walter Applebaum, Carol Nicholson, Dave Welsh. Merri Carson, Janis Penrose, Lyn Rcith, Barry Krueger, Bob Deardon, Marlyn Della Porta, Betsy Nor-cross, and Bill Upson. Student directors Susan Schwei-zer and Barbara Christie helped supervise the production. There were endless rehearsals and committee meetings. Nerves were frazzled and tempers grew short as the time drew near . . . Suddenly the orchestra was playing, and the audience was silent and waiting. Opening night! Let us stay! Please let us stay!
