This en- thusiastic class not only participated in the re- quired sehool activities but also took an active part in athletics. assemblies. and social affairs. ln the fall. ninth-graders combined their talents yvith other junior high school students for the annual Fun and Frolicu production. The girls' hockey and basket- ball teams had exceptionally fine seasons. yyhile the boys' basketball teams boasted an undefeated record. The final event on the freshman agenda vyas their jaunt to Harrisburg. This tour yyas both educational and enjoyable. A visit to Hershey and the fun at the amusement park will alvvays be remembered as part of a vvonderful year.

Members of the class of '60 lent their prowess to athletic teams. raised funds for the Welfare Drive. and participated in Fun and Frolic. clubs. plays. and dances. Nlid-way through the school year. the Junior Debs Club sponsored a leap year party which proved to be a social success. Charles Forbes and Nlrs. Pauline Edwards guided the mathematicians. while fVlr. John Rank acquainted them with the held of science. This class has enthusiastically climbed the sec- ond rung ol' the ladder which brings them closer to the high school days.
