This course. which covers the period from ancient times to present day life. acquaints students with the historical background so impor- tant in understanding American History. Juniors direct their talents to the study of Amer- ican History. They discover for themselves the development of America from its birth to our present nation. ln preparation for the luture. seniors investigate world problems and the work of the lfnited Na- tions in the world atlairs classes. Even if students forget some of their math. they can never forget the good habits math teaches them. No one can be a mere day dreamer or a careless person and learn math. for one's mind must be kept on the subject if he wishes to master this subject. Our mathematics department offers algebra. plane geometry. solid geometry. advanced algebra and trigonometry.
