Responsible students tackle STUDENT COUNCIL The teen-agers ol' today are the citizens ol' tomorrow. This truism is ever-present in our dadsi minds, and they realize that we must be well prepared to take over their jobs as vigilant guard- ians of our democratic institutions. Science and math prepare pupils for tomorrow by presenting to them the orderliness ol' world forces and by instilling in them a valuable curi- osity. Scientilic training in chemistry, physics. and biology and comprehension ol' algebra, geom- etry. and trigonometry help us to discard super- stition and prejudice which hamper international and intranational relations. These subjects train the student to keep his mind open and to search all possible solutions ol' a problem. To deal with misunderstanding and intolerance. people should be able to express themselves.
