DEDICA TION The LanHi '75 staff takes pride in dedicating the 1975 Lan-Hi to two most outstanding people. These two people, we feel, have a great deal to ' do in molding the stones into the solid brick house, and making Lanphier the best school in Springfield. We, therefore, dedicate the 1975 Lan-Hi to our past principal, Mr. John IM Armitage, and to our present principal, Mr. Phillip H. Schmidt. - ' Mr. Armitage held very high views of Lanphier which have carried over into our everyday lives. We feel that he helped the student body greatly during his tenure as principaL both as individuals and as a student body. We wish him the best in all his future endeavors. . MR. JOHN W. AND IN THE PRESENT. . . Mr. Schmidt has a very high tradition to follow and we are confident that he will continue to improve Lanphier during his tenure as principal. We feel that he embodies our theme perfectly in that he is a free spirit like the stones in a field and also that he represents Lanphier as the solid house of bricks. We know that he will go beyond the reaches of duty for the students of Lanphier and we are extremely proud that he is a gradu- ate of L. H. S. Good Luck, Mr. Schmidt, for many years at Lanphier!
