i THEME When the members of the Lan-Hi '75 staff got together, we decided that we needed a theme for our yearbook that was imaginative, original, and mean- ingful. We found that in the last few years the Lan-Hi has had a theme in the name only: and we decided to change that. Our theme for 1975 is, Like Stones' in a Field We Are Many, Like Bricks in a House We Are One . This is a complicated theme,with many meanings, but we challenge you to look for this theme as it' is expressed on every page, in every section. This may take thought and time, but we believe that it is one of the aspects of Lan-Hi '75 that makes it the best book to come out of Lanphier High School in years. Everyone in Lanphier High School is an individual with his own talents and fthoughts, like the different shapes and sizes of stones in a field. Yet, all of these individuals are what makes up Lanphier High School. It is this individ- uality that gives us the character that is strictly L. H. S. As all the stones are cut and molded, a house takes shape-strong, massive, and powerful. This is true no matter what the case, whether sporting events, fund drives, or just plain arguments with friends from other schools. We all stick up for good old L. H. S. We think you will agree that truly, Like Stones in a Field We Are Many, Like Bricks in a House We Are One, and above all else, we are and always will be Lanphier. ' 'S ' . xx .
