Mrs. Boehner acts as secretary to Mr. Stickney and to the deans. An- Jther of her duties is that of keeping an accurate account of the financial status of the school's organizations. ln addition to these tasks, she willingly Dffers her assistance to any of the faculty who ntight have need of her secre- arial talents. Mrs. Hill performs the very irnportant job of keeping the attendance rec- Drd of each Lanphier student. Each term she prepares the honor roll for tho school. Mrs. Hill is always willing to assist the teachers in any clerical duties Nhich are Within her capacity. By their Willing cooperation these two skillful workers have become ndispensahle to Lanphier. SCHCOL PUBLICATIONS Ono oi tho most serious problems iacinq hiah schools today is that of pulolishinq the school paper and the yearbook. Increas- inq printing costs, adequate rooms in which to work, and lack ot limo on the part of the students are tho major difficulties to be over' come hero at Lanphier. The larqe enrollrnent this year has made it very ditiicult to find ci room in which the Lan Hi staii could work. Printing costs are hisrher oach year. Many Senior students are employed after school which prevents them from Working on the paper and yearbook. The otiicers ol the present lunior Class which will have tho ro- sponsihility for puhlisirinq the Light and Lan Hi next year are already studying these problems and may he able to iind a solu- tion. A faculty committee made up oi former advisors ot the publi- cations is also considerinq ways of meeting the diiiiculties. We otior lull cooperation to the luniors in Whatever solution is reached and teel sure that the students will accept their decision araciously.
