German Club This year, the German Club worked toward their main goal of attend- ing the TAGS, (Texas Association of German Students), convention in Arlington, Texas. To raise money, the club had two car washes and co-sponsored an assembly featuring Austrian singers. In the latter part of April, twenty-six students left on the trip they had strived for. Five couples performed a dance during the convention picnic, while the remainder of the group sang. All had fun, and enjoyed the German atmosphere.
