Lanier Orchestra The Orchestra began the year with the tra- ditional P.T.A. concerts and elementary school demonstrations. In November, All-State and All-Region Auditions were held and a Thanks- giving Assembly was given. A Christmas As- sembly was given in December. In February, those who made All-State attended the re- hearsals in San Antonio. In March, Solo and Ensemble Contest was held and Orchestra members received many medals. In April, Con- test was held, and the Orchestra received a Sweepstakes rating. The Orchestra concluded the year with the annual Band and Orchestra Banquet held in May.
