McCallum Pep Rally. Vikettes Dance - Add to Spirit For their second year in existence, the Vikettes added satin derbies to their uniforms. They performed at several pep rallies and during half-time of Friday home basketball games. In March, the Vikettes, under the direction of Mrs. Gayla King, sponsored the Sports Coronation. The last month of the year brought many activities to the Norse campus. Assemblies were held, gifts exchanged, and parties enjoyed. The Student Council dance brought re- cording artist Denny Esba to La- nier. The Music Department pre- sented Christmas in song and Vi- kings went home to treasure the season with their families. l7I
