McCallum Pep Rally. Vikettes Dance - Add to Spirit For their second year in existence, the Vikettes added satin derbies to their uniforms. They performed at several pep rallies and during half-time of Friday home basketball games. In March, the Vikettes, under the direction of Mrs. Gayla King, sponsored the Sports Coronation. The Coronation and other dancing added to the hoard of Viking spirit during the '65-'66 year. Halftime at home basketball games found them dancing. High kicks were a Vikette specialty, 169 l at

The Lanier Athletic Booster Club again sponsored the second annual Powder Puff game. Sharon Perkins, Senior, scored twice to give her class a 12-O victory. The Seniors won for the second time and will treasure their two-year cham- pionship. Male Twirlers and the junior High Band added a new dimension to the game. Also new was a halftime show put on by the boys in the Viking Band. These things, along with the usual excitement, helped make the affair a big success for all. I68
