They showed their fury in the district tournament where jim Olson and Dan Roberts took first in doubles and jimmy Toombs placed second in singles. The Girls Basketball Team The girls Basketball team went to the Austin tournament but did not fare well. The team members were Donna Harrell, Beverly Crain, Sharon McWhorter, Karen Scott, and Shirley Cochran. Members not pictured are Cricket Branch and Sandra Caddell. l60 The All-Star Volleyball Team Wins 3rd in District The All-star volleyball team traveled to Waco for a tournament and returned with a third place trophy. The team members are: Donna Harrell, Marilyn Stapleton, Anita Beasley, Sha- ron McWhorter, Edna Smith, Sherry Wheeler, and not pictured, Elsa Gutierrez and Cricket Branch.
