Lanier Belts Belton The powerful Vikings scored first in the early part of the game. This expeditious start slacked to allow Belton one score before the Vikings revived to finish with a final score of 33-8. Lampasas Badgers Lanier The Vikings met a stubborn Lampasas team. Even though Lampasas was reported relatively weak, they showed a determined attack against the Vikings. Lanier held the Badgers to only one touchdown, but were unable to score only one themselves. The Vikings bettered the Badgers by one first down in a 6-6 ball game. By holding off the Tigers and scoring 2 T.D.'s, they hold their perfect record. The 2 tallies were made in the 2nd and 3rd quarters by Ricky Dennis and james Roden with Bobby McGraw kicking the point after both times. Diamond Hill Dumped Lanier played flawless ball and scored 25 points before Diamond Hill finally tallied with a 92- yard kickoff runback. The second half saw both teams scoring twice to make the final score 38-20. Lanier Lanced by McCallum Lanier held McCallum one quarter before the Knights broke loose for 13 points in the second quarter. The Knights never again lost their control of the game as they scored in the third and fourth quarters to make the final score 27-O.
