Young Americans This year a new club was added to the many already existing at Lanier. The Young Amer- icans Club, sponsored by Mrs. Alice Davis and Mrs. jean McMillan, was organized to promote interest in the field of social studies. This year the club had both junior and senior high school members. Activities of the club this year included guest speakers, whose topics ranged from the pyramids of Egypt to Austin's park and rec- reation facilities. The club also took field trips to Gardner House and to the French Legation. The Young Americans leave on a field trip to Gardner House.
