W. E. GLAZNER Principal As Assistant Principal and, now, as Principal, Mr. Glazner has helped Lanier to keep its high standards and top scholastic ratings. Through his understanding ways and capable leadership, he has maintained a close sense of relationship and co-opera- tion between the faculty and the student body. Mr. Glazner received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Jacksonville State College and the University of Alabama. Since then, he has taught school in St. Clair, DeKalb, Shelby, and Montgomery Counties. Both the faculty and the student body are indeed grateful to Mr. Glazner for his wise counsel and his help in making Lanier a superior institution ot learning. li4l

MISS CLAUDIA HARDY Dean of Girls lviiss Hardy, our Dean ot Girls, received her B.A. degree from Judson College and did graduate work at New York University, the University ot Alabama, and Auburn University. ln 1954, she received a Ford Foundation Fellowship, this fellowship gave her an opportunity to travel and to observe schools all over the country. Here at Lanier, she advises students on scholarships, in ad- dition to teaching a class in French. Miss Hardy is always willing to help anyone in any way she can. MR. H. H. ADAIR Assistant Principal Mr. Adair, our new Assistant Principal, has helped to make this year a successful one tor Lanier. He attended Auburn Univer- sity, where he not only received his B.S. and lvi.A. degrees, but did additional graduate work. He taught math at Goodwater High School and at Cloverdale Junior High. Be- tore coming to Lanier, he served as principal ot Capitol Heights Elementary School. As Dean ot Boys, he aids and advises them with their problems. The Lanier student body says, Thank you, Mr. Adair, tor a iob well done.
