fyedmtfofi... THIS YEAR WE, THE SENIOR CLASS OF 1948, WISH TO DEDICATE OUR ORACLE TO ONE OF THE FINEST INDIVIDUALS OF LANIER, MISS GUSSIE HARRIS. SHE HAS FOR YEARS SERVED LANIER AS ONE OF ITS BEST TEACHERS, INSTRUCTING THE PUPILS NOT ONLY IN ENGLISH, BUT IN THE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF EVERYDAY LIVING. SHE HAS BEEN NOT MERELY A TEACHER, BUT A LOYAL AND HELPFUL FRIEND, REPROVING US WHEN NECESSARY, ADVISING US WHEN WE WERE IN TROUBLE, AND REJOICING WITH US WHEN WE WERE HAPPY. HER TIRELESS ENERGY IN THE CLASSROOM, HER FRIENDLY TEASING, AND HER BLESS YOUR PESKY HEART! HAVE LEFT INDELIBLE IMPRES- SIONS ON OUR HEARTS.
