SCHOLASTIC TOP FIVE These five outstanding members of the 1977 graduating class are all members of the National Honor Society and were among the top five percent of Juniors in Jefferson County. In addition qstanding, left to righty DELSA LINDSEY is president of Rho Alpha Service Sorority, a Bank Board member and Bank Teller, was a participant in the National Science Foundation at Alabama State Univer- sity, on the math team at Samford Univer- sity, was a third place Science Fair winner in 1975 and has been a member of the Fellow- ship of Christian Students and Student Action for Education. RANDY BUNN is the Senior Class President, a Presidential Scholarship Winner to Birmingham - Southern College, was a 3rd place winner in the 1975 Science Fair. is a member of the L Club having played varsity baseball, football, and a member of the wrestling team, he is also a member of the Key Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club and Bank Board. IEANNIE GAINES is vice-president of Rho Alpha, placed second in the 1975 Science Fair and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Students and Student Action for Education. iSitting, left to rightj BETH BRIT- TON is a member of the Lanier Marching and Concert Bands, Flag Corps Captain, treasurer of Lambda Tri-Hi-Y, a member of the Fel- lowship of Christian Students, president of the Spanish Club, a member of the Samford Uni- versity math team, Bank Board, represented Lanier on the Youth Speaks Out television program, is the Tiger Growl editor for the Bessemer News, was a member of the 1976 Homecoming Court and a participant in the Miss Jess Lanier High School Beauty Pageant the past two years.
