To: Mr. Peterson, members of the faculty and fellow students the Class of '71 lawyers leave the sincere hope that your sense of humor is as good as ours. To: The past year's Sophomore football players we leave a certain subject to discuss during practice. To: Booger Reeves we say, Hang in there Boogerl To: All the girls at JLHS we give you one final walk down the hall with Mike Moore. To: Gran Wilson we leave Nancy Johnson so she will be available to play the lead in the school play. To: Next year's Key Club President we leave Jay Casey's ability to control the meetings. To: Linda Wall and Gary Mahaffey we leave Shelley Mittermaier and Janet Hall's companionship. To: Next year's wrestling team we leave this year's undefeated season. To: Lu Ann Kelso and Debbie Oakley we leave the book LEARN TO TWIRL IN THREE EASY LESSONS. To: Greg Jackson we leave Mike Hill's camera. To: Jess Lanier we leave Pam Cowley AGAIN. To: Mrs. Ford we leave the Spirit Stick. To: Carolyn Roe we leave some extra heavy duty hair spray to keep that beautiful hair in place.

Johnny Bell version of 'The Odd Couple. Next Beth Sewell and Debi Knight who are currently employed at the Ricky Davis Show Bar come in with Paula Champion who is Professor of Success at the Faye Canzoneri Community Chest Charm School. With them is Sylvia Blackerby who has taken over her father's O K Rubber Supply Co. Still trying to sell old supplies from the old Tiger Trading Post we see Vicki Manzelia, while stepping up with a MIKE is Cindy Davis who has a hurt foot and is still having to HOBSOM'. The world renowned canasta champion of the Hawaiian Islands. Eddie Thigpen has just entered with Johnny Nunally who is carrying a large bucket of sow snouts. Next we see John Hagerty, now the owner of Johnny's Quick Munch, entering with Malinda Mosley, the woman scientist who has discovered the cure for lumbago. Standing in a mud puddle outside is super hero Ronnie DiChiara known to the world as Wonder Foot. Suddenly we see Br8d Duniavy running toward us in his pink leotards pointing out that while we have been noticing all the guests we have missed the entire festivities. This has truly been an evening we shall never forget. As the first graduating class of Jess Lanier High School leave the auditorium we say farewell and best wishes for the future.
