All this work is carried on and kept up-to-the-minute by this Q Q Q department with very meager equip1ne11t. O Q1 il . . . . . U Ea Ev The department ot tailoring is housed in a room of the Laundry, this E' .-, however, is well lighted by drop lights with reflectors. Here the equipment 9 T 9 is more nearly up-to-the-standard and this condition exhibits itself thoroughly 2 Qi Q in the work turned out there. Q Q Electrical courses are offered under the direct instruction of Prof. Miller who is familiar with all phases of this work. Wi1'i1ig' of the new modern dairy I ig. Q barn was done by a class in electricity. All of the repair work on the lines F., ll fl of the campus is done by classes. A few members of these classes who work U longer than class hours are paid. 6 I1 lg Qi 5 6 The department of auto mechanics has proven itself equal to every task U yet presented to it and every student of this department has learned a deep Q U v respect tor the technical skill of the instructor. The repair of the University fi Q my motor vehicles is done in this department. A tire repair shop and a battery sl IIE QI shop is included in the equipment. fi, I I . . . . U U 5 ll . The department of manual training with Mr. J. E. Roberts as instructor 6 3 4, Q, is very much handicapped in its constructive program by its overload of re- 0 8 rl - . .... . my C, pair work. All of this work is done on the University's 300-acre 6 iii farm. The greater-part of which is under cultivation.
