LANGLOIS PICH SCHOOL LETTVR IRLS CLUB At the beginning of the year there was an argument on whether or not the irl's letterman club should be united with the boys After several meetings the decision was settled by leaving the two clubs separate At a later meeting the girls discussed what should be done about the manager' let c The result was that if the manager earned a letter 11 xolleyb ll one year she could wear the letter that she feels is the most im ortant of the two and one stripe The girls receiving their letter and first stripe this year are Charleen Turner Irene Sypher Dorothy Wifle Iris Robbins da Holycross, Barbara Phillips, Dorothy Storm, and Mary Donaldson Shirley Phillips and Patricia Boice received their third stripe Madelyn Johnson will receive a manager's letter and stripe BOY'S LETTERVEN CLUB The boy's lettermen club held a meeting at the first of the year and elected their officers They were Noel Martin, Presi dent Bert Britton Vice President and Charles Clarke Secretary The club decided to break away from the student body consti tution and make one of their own It was also decided that from now on only one letter would be awarded and for each additional sport would be awarded a small emblem It is understood that a stripe stands for a year of sport or sports played The boys receiving letters from basketball this year are as follows Joe Sabin, Fred Robbins, Dale Smith, and Ted W81k6l The boys receiving a stripe and emblem are Don Ringheimer Dick Ever est Hal Strain, Joe Sabin, Duke Storm, Darrell Guerin Fred Rob bins Bert Britton, Dale Smith Charles Clarke, Noel Martin and Ted Walker There hasn't been any awards made for baseball yet since the season wasn't completed by the time the annual went to press COQUILLE OREGON Herman's Men Store Coquille Studio Peiples Store Orchard Auto Parts Biegger's Hudson Drug Brewer Shoe Store Charlotte's Cafe Paddy's Barber Shop LANGLOIS, ORE.
