ppr ALP ; v The Alternative Learning Program here at Langley is three years old. It teaches about one hundred to two hundred students in grades nine through twelve. All who apply are admitted. The curriculum places emphasis on college preparatory courses, environmental studies, and social-political issues. The Future Homemakers of America Club presented the Ninth Annual Lady Langley Pageant on November 23. Thirty-five girls participated in the contest and were judged on their appearance as well as other attributes, by a panel selected from local fashion businesses. Mr. Chuck Littlejohn was the master of ceremonies.
