Class Prophecy Looking far into the deep, deep future of the nineteen-fifty-three graduates of Langley High School, we found a bright light shining on the desk in the home of the world renowned financier, Albert Hagglund. ltr. Hagglund was sitting at his desk dictating to his secretary, llary Lou Anderson, who was perched on his knee, when there was a crash and through the window cams a rock with an envelope tied to it. He opened the envelope and took out ho slips of paper. One was a ticket to the circus the next night and on the other was scrawled two words, 'BE TIBEJ' lr. Hagglund told his secretary to call a detective. She dialed a number and at the other end of the line she heard, 'Jensen and Jensen, Girl Detective. Agency. These were the two comonly known as Supersleuth larilyn and Hawkeye Carol. After instructing them to take the ticket and go to the circus the next night, the Hagglund household went to bed. The next evening finds Hawkeye and Supersleuth driven by taxicab driver Jack Simons. They got to the circus just as it was about to begin. On the way through the midway they saw Roger Gabelein and lariel Jenkins and their famous sextuplets who were eating cotton candy bought from Charles Shelley, the candy man. When they stepped inside and found their seats they heard a laugh which they remembered from .high school days. Looking around they noticed llarian Peters. She told them she was principal of a Siamese grade school and cane to the circus for a vacation from Siam. lhen the show was almost over, Hawkeye spied a very suspicious looking clan and went to the circus door to capture him. Upon removing his wig and glasses she found it to be Gary Kohlswes and everyone knows he was always too bashful to play that kind of a trick. All this was getting Hawkeye and Supersleuth nowhere and thq were becotlng riled so they called in Bob Surface and Norm Thompson, finger print experts for the police, to check for prints on the circus ticket. After close examination it was found that the prints belonged to either Dennis Iowler, a famous plastic surgeon, or Allen Brager, a race horse Jockq. Further investigation disclosed Allen had been associated with two questionable women, Phyllis Boardman and Gloria Porter, who were famous gun nolls posing as professional baby sitters. Following a hunch they went to John Wadde1l's restaurant where the waiters, Ken Seaton and W Worland, told them Al Hager was in the back rot with Bd Howard and Harold Dull, the big gamblers, but the waitresses, Gertie Inu and Jerri Armtrong, said he had been there for five dqs, and the receptionist, Sigrid lbggenes, backed up the alibi. The only thing left to do was to hunt up the other suspect. They went to the Bryant Hotel owned by Richard L. Bryant and the switchboard operator directed them to the seventh floor office of Dennis Fowler.

Best 'Skipper' The elevator boy, Lorren Olsen, .took them, by mistake, to the ninth floor where Ted Thompson, the famous singer, was practicing for his next Shia When they went down to talk to Dr. Fowler he confessed he had thrown the rock because a mysterious voice over the phone threatened him with his lite if he didn' t. Hawkeye and Supersleuth went back to the Hagglund house and called the household staff into the den. Pointing their fingers at one of the upstairs :aids they said, 'Jean Hurt, you called Dr. Fowler and scared him into thraring the rock through the window so lr. Hagglund would go to the circus and you could be alone in the house with the nilknsn Jack Sche1ler. 'lhereupon the other upstairs maid, Dorothy Day, started screaming, 'Yon stole 1' boyfriendl' Ie will never kncl who the culprit was because the light dimed at that point and we were taken back again to 1953.
