PITTSBURGH ,, mfcca af How tortunate we seniors are to enter into a city like Pittsburgh, the steel capital of the world, As Langley has grown, changed, improved, so our city has grown, especially the past few years when it has entered a period to which news writers justifiably refer as Pittsburghs Renaissance A new program of improvements has been adopted. It will include three major bridges, five major highways, various park improvements, and a modern County Hospital and Infirmary. Qur recently finished airport is the largest and one of the busiest in the nation. Our rivers handle more tonnage than the world's largest seaport. The Turnpike, the Penn. Lincoln Parkway, the sky' scrapers at the entrance of the Point, the new Conemaugh Dam: all of these have stirred up a new feeling in the people of Pittsburgh. Yes, now there's a new glow of pride among this district's people as they survey their accomplishments of the past and look ahead to a brighter future.
