Class Historq The coming of June means commencement and the end of a full and happy college life. As freshmen, we came from diverse places and entered O.C.C. in the traditional dazed fashion. Besides classes, exams, mid-night study sessions, and regular school activities, we found another side to this picture . . . one composed of little things that make college life a life we will remember. Charter members who entered O.C.C. in 1949 are: Harry Anson, Mary Boyd, Albert S. Dickson, Ir., James Henager, Howard Miller, Raymond Gene Powers, Mary Elizabeth Rob- inson, Charles Schmett, Rosemary Sullivan, Lynn Theroff, Charles Edward Weir, Betty Snyder Wilgus, and Lillian Mae Williams. Other members to join the graduating class by completing their work in three years, on other campuses, or over a longer period of time are: Marilou Baldwin, Warren Kenneth Coomer, Hoyt Allan Covalt, Henry Cruz, Everett Glen Erwin, Francis A. Gates, Janet Louise Green, Carol Jean Hightower, Frank Hollings- worth, jr., john T. Horber, Kenneth Raymond Kennedy, Ival Lane, Velta Anne Manning, Noble Moratta, Nellie McRoberts, Arthur VVayne Nattier, Paul L. Oliphant, Beverly Poe, Dorothy Powers, Angelo Sablan, Donald Skinner, Esley Sisson, Jr., George Smith, Alyne Allbright Sorrells, Ray Thompson, Alva R. Willis, Sue Cotterill Wright, and Edna Louise Young. Seniors will don caps and gowns, receive their diplomas, and leave the campus to take their places in the world. WVith them they take the experiences and knowledge gained through the opportunities of a higher education. We are saddened by the fact that the pleasant days at O.C.C. are ending, and the 1'ealiZafiO11 that we may loose contact with, or possibly never see again, many of our friends. But this feeling is brushed aside as we remember that these friendships and memories will always be a part of us and that many new experiences lie ahead. Marilou Baldwin Q I I f 1. XE' 5 I' l .'
