LANERI 12 SAINT PIUS 20 Laneri finished its season at Hous- ton losing to Saint Pius, but playing a spirited game. Saint Pius always held a commanding lead throughout the contest but the Micks scratched the scoreboard in the second and last on scoring plays by John Met- zger and Frank Gordoa. Tommy Marrs breaks for a long gain. Carl Busbee moves around for the first first down yardage

WACO 20 5 3 f Laneri finally caught fire in the fad- ing minutes of the game to post a score. lt came with 15 seconds left to play and was gained by a pass from Allan Keyer to Tom Marrs good for 15 yards and a 25 yard run by Tom with Allan's pass. Two Greyhounds try to wrestle Frank Gordoa to the turf. Phil Weaver and Carl Busbee move in to help stop the oncoming Handley player.
