LANERI 0 DIAMOND HILL 21 Diamond Hill and Laneri clash- ed at Trinity Park before a very good crowd. Diamond Hill had scoring plays of 10, 15, and 3 yards. Their extra points came on one pass and one kick. La- neri was plagued by fumbles and intercepted passes. Al- though the Micks couldn't get a scoring drive started, their de- fensive play kept the game in- teresting. A Laneri player is swamped under, but not before he makes a first down. The Blue and Gold offense machine swings into action.

LANERI 8 AZLE 0 Laneri scored its first victory of the football season over Azle on a rain soaked touchdown in the third period on an eight-yard lunge by halfback Frank Gordoa. The Micks turned the trick with ground power, picking up 198 yards while not com- pleting a pass.
