AUTUMN During Autumn four Laneri Seniors received word that they had ranked in the top one-half per cent of high school seniors in the nation as semi- finalists in the National Merit Schol- arship Program. Left to right, Max Gillaspyy Dennis Yeager, Robert Stewart, and Richard Matzner look over the materials as they are ex- plained by Fr. Leonard, Principal of Laneri. As a result of the second test taken in December in the Na- tional Merit Program, all four were awarded Certificates of Merit as finalists in the program. DURING OUR WINTER SEASON Jesse Payne, custodian at Laneri, receives a present at Christmastime from the student body in appreciation for the many favors beyond the call of duty he has done for Laneri students.
