OFFICERS ANGELO A. BUSCAGLIA Treasurer Angelo came into this world on October 27, 1936, at 6:30 P.M. in Chicago. After gradua- ting from St. Francis Xavier Grammar School, he entered The School of Champions. He at cnce became active, joining the Football, Wrestling, Track, and Baseball Teams. He was also active in l.M. Sports, Skating, Smith- Hughes Machine Shop, Bowling, Spur and Saddle Club, and Pan-American Club, He was President of the- Roller Club, and he did the singing for graduation. He will go to college to pursue the account- ing field, trying for a C.P.A. degree. 1955 BRUCE L. SALLAZ Sergeant-at-Arms Bruce came into this world on a cold nighi in Chicago on January 15, l937. After grad- uating from Moos School, he entered Lane. Upon entering, he joined the football team, on which he has played for four years. He has participated in Intramural Sports and was a hallguard for one year. Also for a year he- has been in the Pan-American Club and has ta- ken Smith-Hughes Shop in which he worked hard. After graduation, he plans to ente-r col- lege for a Bachelor of Science degree. January 1955 27

CLASS BURTON C. BRUNNER Vice-President Burt was born in Chicago on August 24, l937. After graduating from Cleveland Gram- rnur School as Class President, he entered Lane and immediately became active in many school functions. Being interested in sports, he joined the Trr.ck Team in his Sophomore year, and participated in all l.M. Sports. Among his other numerous activities he was President of the Championship Chorus and a member of the National Honor Society and Super-Honor Roll, Honors Classes, Olympian's I-li-Y, German Club, and Hallguards. After graduation, Burt plans to further his education in engineering at a college undeter- mined as yet. JANUARY KENNETH JACK SMOCZYNSKI Secretary Ken was born on December 31, 1936. He attended Hanson Park Grammar School and up-on graduation entered Lane. He soon be- ccme interested in sports and joined the Foot- ball Team, on which he played for four years and was elected one of the co-captains. Ken was elected President of the Polish Club, and was also active as a member in the Brush and Easel, Lettermen's Club, and Intramural Sports.
