TERUHISA KURODA Terry was born in the capital of the United States, Washington D.C., on September 9, 1936. Upon graduation from Volta Elementary School he was advised to enter Lane because of his interest in mathematics and science. His athletic endeavors include participation in the Track and Cross Country Teams and winning two letters. Among his other activities he was Vice President of the National Honor Society, President of the Verein der Fahrenden Gesellen lLane German Clubl, and Chairman of the Student Budget Committee for three semesters. Terry was also Vice President of the Student Council in his Junior year and a member of the Letterman's Club. CLASS BURTON C. BRUNNER Vice-President Burt was born in Chicago on August 24, l937. After graduating from Cleveland Gram- rnur School as Class President, he entered Lane and immediately became active in many school functions. Being interested in sports, he joined the Trr.ck Team in his Sophomore year, and participated in all l.M. Sports. Among his other numerous activities he was President of the Championship Chorus and a member of the National Honor Society and Super-Honor Roll, Honors Classes, Olympian's I-li-Y, German Club, and Hallguards. After graduation, Burt plans to further his education in engineering at a college undeter- mined as yet. JANUARY KENNETH JACK SMOCZYNSKI Secretary Ken was born on December 31, 1936. He attended Hanson Park Grammar School and up-on graduation entered Lane. He soon be- ccme interested in sports and joined the Foot- ball Team, on which he played for four years and was elected one of the co-captains. Ken was elected President of the Polish Club, and was also active as a member in the Brush and Easel, Lettermen's Club, and Intramural Sports.
