ACLILTY OO MANY PEOPLE think that all it takes to fly is a plane and a pilot. Little do they realize the preparation that must be made to produce that plane and pilot. The plane must be designed, tested, serviced. overhauled, and inspected. The pilot must be given physical tests, training, and countless hours of practice on the ground before he is allowed to fly a plane. lt is always the people behind the scenes who make a show possible, and here at Lane it is the faculty who are the people behind the scenes. They are here to train the students for the careers they wish to follow and also to make better citizens at the same time.
