A brighter side is the defeat- ing of Lane's traditional rival, Schurz, 7 to 6. After the first holiday iColum- busl the 4Bs hold their election. It is a terrific campaign, and Wudke is e- lected President. Lane received a host of representatives as the annual Col- lege Day is held. Indian Summer had most Laneites breathing a sigh as they look towards our next door neighbor, Riverview, closed for the winter. Like a flash the weather changes and Lane experiences its first snow.
