rgflilf 45 September Highlights T is back to school on September 2nd to start a new school year. School gets into full swing as over five thou- sand students enroll. Lane triumphs in first game of the football season by smashing Bishop Noll, 13 to O. Hardly in school for more than two weeks, when the students get an extra holiday as water main bursts. By the nineteen- th everything is running smoothly as students perform rituals of locker day, attend first social, and, if they happen to be seniors, get their pins and rings. 4As hold their traditional assembly and the month comes to a close with the Lane football team defeating Har- rison.
