M' VINCE SPEDALE PRESIDENT OF SENIOR CLASS JAN '48 INCE was born In the vlcmlty of Lane on December 2 l929 He attended the Audubon Grammar School where he was an outstandnng Student and was well llked by hls classmates After graduating from Audubon Vance entered Lane full of mnschlef and am bltnon Mischief not paying off he turned has ottentuon toward hrs Studies This worked out for hum for Vlnce S endeavors were compensated by several certificates for scho lastlc achievement whnch enabled hum to bcome a member of the Honor Soclety where has name appears on the Super Honor Roll However Vrnce dld not devote all his time to studles for In hls flrst year he was a member of the frosh soph and recenved an award for his partlclpatnon He w t play Varslty football where h en on to e made many friends Besides playing football Vmce en yoys softball a great deal and has been on several mtra I H mura teams IS character personallty and atntude have helped hlm acquire the tltle of The Frlendllest Guy at Lane What the future holds for V mce only tlme wall tell but has goal ns to become an automotive engineer
