4 THE KEYSTONE of our progressive faculty is our capable principal Dr. Arthur PQ O' Mara. His unusually active interest in school functions is evidenced by his frequent visits to all parts of the building. Inspired by his leadership, students and teachers continue to build the already fine reputation of Lane Tech. Dr. O'Mara, who has been our principal for three years, also lectures at Loyola University Graduate School. Math, astronomy, bowling, and Pontiacs are a few of his many interests. These, together with his sympathetic sensitivity, qualify him eminently as principal of the finest technical high school in the world.

i i The renowned name of Lane has attracted many outstanding individuals who supervise and coordinate the various activities of our school. They govern our school in an efficient and orderly manner, supplying the school's needs and always striving to improve the instruction and welfare of each individual student. At the head of this organization is the principal, and helping him to perform his duties are the assistant principals and various counselors.
