The natural sciences include everything from the general study of the mysterious world of the microscope to the definite composition of compounds. ln the first year the student begins his scientific education with a general survey of the theory and practice, in a course called general science. During his second year he branches out into different facts of natural science. His first specific course deals with the study of living organisms, biology. ln his third year he enters into the study of physics, which teaches him of the physical laws of nature. This is closely followed by a sister science, chemistry, which deals with the atomic and molecular composition of compounds. With four years of the excellent training in these natural sciences the student has gained an immeasureable wealth of knowledge of the universe about him. 139 GZ -3 1 it f gtmgii X if RES Sw . ll .ll . iq: gai t 'fir .l ,l 2 ,,,,, ,, ,,,, ,, W .mil U
