The Laneite starts to learn the stages of technical construction from the beginning of his high school education at Lane. He develops his skills in all phases of the work, from the time he spends at the drafting board to the industrious hours in workshops. Wood, electric, foundry, or sheet metal, the student is getting experience from our well-equipped school. Lane has eighteen drafting rooms and fifty shops to give the Laneite a broad technical training, which is all so necessary in this day and age.
