During the year, they featured different phases of courtesy with posters and slogan. G.A.C. Christmas activity included send- ing cards to Lane boys in the service. decorating the cafeteria in the holiday manner. and spon- soring a contest in which a picture was awarded to the homeroom displaying the most original and artistic Christmas designs. As a service to the development of better citizenship, the Guidance Committee sponsored discussions in the Junior English classes on WHAT ARE MY PLANS FOR THE FUTURE? Juniors filled out forms giving in- formation about their interests and plans. A compilation of the results was turned over to the faculty Guidance Committee fpr future use. As Junior Hi-Y members, the boys learn the ways of the club and become more efficient Senior Hi-Y members in later years. Most of the Junior Hi-Y's work is supple- mentary to the Senior Hi-Y. This club was founded to extend the work of the Senior Hi-Y and to prepare boys for membership in the Senior organization. The Hi-Y attempts to exert upon its mem- bers uplifting influence, both moral and spir- itual.
