Our iirst social function was a dance at the new city armory with music supplied by the orchestra of Vincent Tramonte. At Christmas we had a party with games, bobbing for apples, races, and refreshments. Then on the week-end of March 18, we went to see the sights of the big city of Wfashington. Next we all turned out for the senior play, The lfffholc Townls' Talking, which had been given a few years previously with an all-faculty cast. All during the year, Mr. Sulfridge and VVilbur Fitzhugh secured speakers with diierent careers to talk to us about the rewards and the qualifications of their particular work. These talks were beneficial in helping us determine what we would choose for our vocations. JAMES QUAlll.liS, jff.S'f0I'llIll 938 lS
