Every boy and girl in Landon looks forward to the time when he can join these clubs. The Senior Fellows' Club sponsors the Barn Dance and their annual Senior Fellows' Banquet, The Senior Girls' Club sponsors the annual Christmas Dance and the Senior Girls' Luncheon at the end ot the year. Lionettes The Lionettes under the direction ot Miss Kathleen Turner and the leadership of Ianice Ashby have accomplished rnanythingsthis year. They put on beautiful drills during the halves of the football games, and besides this they helped in the lnlantile Paralysis Drive, the March ot Dimes, the Fred Cross Drive, and severalmore charity drives. Although We had the had luck of loosing our Coach, We were fortunate to obtain a Well experienced man. The season was very successful with a result of six wins, three losses, and t Squad ,43 one tie. ln the past Landon has never beaten Iackson twice in one season. This year Landon did this seemingly impossible thing, Edwy Hull, playing center, was captain, While Victor Papa, playing fullback, was alternate cap- tain. They h the courage and determination that it took to come back after a bad 'aa' art at the beginning of the season. At the end ot the season the boys were M Polished Hoopsters . - This season the team went to the Big Ten Tournament, and the State Tourna- M ment at Tampa and also to the District Tournament at Orlando. Although Ad the boys showed up well in all the tournaments they did their best in Big Ten M U coming within two points of winning over Hillsborough for the championship. MIK Gordon, Bagwell and Schloss made the Big Ten Team. Although four of the first string is graduating, Landon will have a splendid team next year.
