DEDICHTIDH It is very doubtful if anyone has contributed more to the Spiritual development of the people of Rowan County for the past fifty years than has the late Rev. C. P. Fisher, Db. Rev. Fisher spent more than forty years of his ministerial service here in our county. The last fifteen being spent as our next door neighbor. Rev. Fisher's love for school children and his en- couraging words spoken to the teachers as they ar- rived and returned from their day's work in the class- room will never be forgotten. Greater love hath no man than this, that he give his life for God's Kingdom. Truly it can be said of Rev. Fisher that he gave his life for the spiritual development of the boys and girls of Rowan County. In appreciation for this great service rendered by Rev. Fisher, we, the class of 1946, dedicate this year- book.
