He had dreamed of her great strength and beauty. The day had arrived for the workmen to lay down her keel. He watched closely every piece of materials that went into her as she took shape and at last she was launched. Indeed this was a great day for the young architect and the workmen. Their work was al- most completed and they were justly proud, for there she was, Proud Mistress of the Sea. Not so many years ago two architects (father and mother), stood and looked down at you in your crib. They had a vision of you growing into manhood and womanhood.
